Our shop sits on East Chestnut Street, a short walk from the BNSF platform and the shops on First, in a village that has been growing outward from that railroad since William Robbins platted it in the 1860s. The streets tell the story: the Robbins Park historic district with its Queen Annes, Colonial Revivals, Craftsman bungalows and Prairie School houses; the winding, topography-following blocks laid out by Horace Cleveland; then Golfview Hills and The Woodlands, and the newer builds filling in toward 55th.
